Inspired by the feeling of loneliness and longing during the first Covid lockdown, the experimental documentary „Truth or Dare“ begins. From interviews, that were conducted over a distance unfolds a fragmentary narration by people from different parts of the world who all came to Berlin to find a home and belonging here in the queer sex-positive scene. It’s about the discovery of queer bodies, the need for consent and the struggle for awareness of self-determined sex work.

Bernhard will nur eins: den Flamingos im Zoo nah sein. Doch sein Umfeld lässt ihm keine Ruhe. Sein Kollege Christian bittet ihn, auf seine Echse aufzupassen. Mareike, Christians Nachbarin, macht ihm Avancen. Ein YouTuber, der sich auf die Reviews von mittelalterlichen Waffen spezialisiert hat, will ihn für eine Zusammenarbeit gewinnen. Und dann ist da noch ein jodelnder Taxifahrer und eine besorgte Mutter aus der Branche der Prognosen.
